Wisconsin Voters: Elect Judge Susan Crawford in the 2025 Wisconsin Supreme Court Election

Extremists like Elon Musk shouldn’t decide Wisconsin’s future—but that is exactly what is on the line in the April 1, 2025, Wisconsin Supreme Court election.

The two candidates running to be Wisconsin’s next Supreme Court justice couldn’t be more different. Brad Schimel poses a threat to the health and safety of Wisconsinites. But Susan Crawford has dedicated her career to protecting their most basic rights and freedoms.

Elon Musk and gun lobby radicals are pouring millions of dollars into this race so they can buy Brad Schimel a seat on the state’s Supreme Court. And we need every Wisconsin voter to show up at the polls to show that our courts and elections can’t be bought. 

In 2023, less than half of eligible Wisconsin voters turned out for the last Supreme Court election. But with your help, in 2025, we’re going to change that.

Wisconsin deserves a future where everyone is free from the threat of gun violence and everyone’s rights are protected. Only one candidate in this race shares those values: Susan Crawford.

Judge Crawford’s career began as an Assistant Attorney General with the Wisconsin Department of Justice. There, she took on some of the state’s toughest criminal cases. She held hundreds of criminals accountable and enforced Wisconsin’s laws. As the Director of Criminal Appeals, she built strong relationships with prosecutors, public defenders, and victim advocates in every corner of Wisconsin. 

Throughout her service in state government and as a private practice attorney, Crawford has fought for Wisconsin’s freedoms. She has protected voting and workers’ rights. And when state lawmakers passed a law that would have severely limited abortion access in Wisconsin, Crawford represented Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin to defend our rights—and won.

Today, Judge Crawford sits on Dane County Circuit Court Branch 1. As a judge, she has presided over tough trials, including homicide, sexual assault, and domestic violence cases. She has always prioritized following the law and getting the facts right in every case to ensure that everyone appearing in her courtroom receives a fair and impartial trial.

But Brad Schimel undermines the same rights that Crawford has spent her career fighting to protect. Schimel wants to take away reproductive rights by reinstating Wisconsin’s 1849 abortion ban. He also opposes background checks that keep guns out of the hands of violent criminals and domestic abusers.

Brad Schimel would keep Wisconsinites from making their own private health decisions. And he doesn’t care about protecting Wisconsin from gun violence. 

Wisconsinites deserve a future where they are free from the threat of gun violence and their rights are protected. In this race to Election Day, every second counts—because the future of Wisconsin hangs in the balance. We won’t let extremists like Elon Musk and gun lobby radicals buy our courts, our votes, or our state. That’s why Wisconsin voters need to elect Judge Susan Crawford.
