Road Trip for Background Checks
From April 6-15, 2021, we went on a Road Trip for Background Checks! Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action volunteers, gun violence survivors, Republicans, gun owners, veterans, faith leaders, and elected leaders around the country at 76 stops decorated a mural and collected messages, mementos, and letters to Congress that were delivered in-person to senators on Capitol Hill.
We deserve more than thoughts and prayers—we need immediate action from our U.S. senators to pass background check legislation now.
We need background checks now.
