NRA Reaches New Low, Claiming “The Mainstream Media Love Mass Shootings”

In case you missed it, NRA spokesperson Colion Noir said in a new NRATV video that, “The mainstream media love mass shootings. I’m going to say it again: the mainstream media love mass shootings…and you, the mainstream media, just put out the casting call for the next mass shooter.”
Dana Loesch said almost the same thing at CPAC today, saying:
“Many in legacy media love mass shootings. You guys love it. Now I’m not saying that you love the tragedy. But I am saying that you love the ratings. Crying white mothers are ratings gold to you and many in the legacy media in the back (of the room).”
More than just distasteful, the NRA’s disgusting rhetoric insults all the survivors of gun violence, and those who commit themselves to ending gun violence. Sam Stein, reporter at The Daily Beast, hit the nail on the head:
