NEWS: Moms Demand Action, Students Demand Action Surpass 500K Calls to Voters, with Over 50K Made This Past Week

9.21.2020

With forty-two days left until Election Day, Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action, the grassroots arms of Everytown for Gun Safety, have been busy working to get out the vote for gun sense candidates up and down the ballot. This year, we’ll outspend, outwork, and outvote the NRA using every tool at our disposal.

In addition to the $60 million Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund and Victory Fund plan to spend this cycle, grassroots volunteers are rallying together safely during the pandemic. In fact, over 1,000 Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action volunteers across the country gathered for a host of virtual campaign actions and made more than 50,000 calls this week alone.

To date, more than 530,000 calls have been made and 200,000 texts sent in an effort to help voters create their Voter Action Plan and confirm their support for gun sense candidates up and down the ballot.

A Recap from Last Week:
