Kentucky Moms Demand Action, Everytown Respond to Fatal Domestic Violence Shooting in Bashford Manor
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Kentucky chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, part of Everytown for Gun Safety, released the following statement in response to reports that a man shot and killed a woman inside her home Sunday afternoon in an apparent murder-suicide. While details are still unfolding, families members told WAVE the two had been in a relationship that had recently ended.

“Our hearts go out to the victim’s loved ones and the Bashford Manor community. This is yet another awful, senseless killing that makes it abundantly clear we need gun safety legislation next session in Kentucky that will protect women and families from abusers armed with guns. Enough is enough.”
