STATEMENT FROM NAME, VOLUNTEER WITH THE INDIANA CHAPTER OF MOMS DEMAND ACTION FOR GUN SENSE IN AMERICA:

“We send our deepest condolences to Lt. Allan’s family, and we’ll be keeping them in our thoughts on this difficult day. Officers like Lt. Allan work day and night to protect our communities, and this tragic news is a reminder of the risks they face every single shift. The rest of us have to do our part to reduce those risks as much as possible, including by making sure our legislators look to law enforcement for guidance when it comes to Indiana’s gun laws.”
