Florida Moms Demand Action, Everytown Respond to Shooting Near TIAA Bank Field

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, part of Everytown for Gun Safety, released the following statement in response to the shooting near TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville. According to reports, six people were shot near the NFL stadium and three victims are in critical condition.

“I am heartbroken for all those affected by the senseless shooting today. We must do more to prevent gun violence here in Jacksonville. This horrible news is yet another tragic reminder of the work Jacksonville residents and our leaders must do to find solutions to break the cycle of violence in our community.”
