$600k Spend Highlights Brad Schimel’s Extremist Views, History of Letting Domestic Abusers Walk Free
MADISON, WI — Today, Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund announced a new TV and digital ad in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race. The ad, “87,” highlights how Brad Schimel wants to bring back an 1849 law banning abortions and opposes commonsense gun safety laws. Beginning today, the ad will run through Election Day on broadcast, cable, streaming and digital platforms in the Madison market and on cable statewide.
“Brad Schimel wants to take away women’s abortion rights, while giving criminals a free pass to buy guns,” said John Feinblatt, president of Everytown for Gun Safety. “Everytown will ensure Wisconsinites have the facts about Schimel’s extremist agenda and the threat he poses to the health, safety and freedom of their communities.”
Transcript:
There have been 87 justices on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and Brad Schimel would be the most extreme.
He wants to bring back the 1849 law that bans abortions, with no exceptions for rape or incest.
He let domestic abusers walk with no jail time.
Schimel even opposes background checks that keep guns away from violent criminals and keep cops safe on our streets.
That’s Brad Schimel’s extreme agenda. And the only one who can stop him… is you.
