Everytown, House Majority PAC Launch $10 Million Paid Media Campaign
10.4.2024
WASHINGTON — Today, Everytown for Gun Safety Victory Fund and House Majority PAC announced a $10 million paid media campaign focused across battleground districts in New York and California. The ads, which will run across streaming and digital platforms targeting persuasion and turnout audiences, highlight MAGA Republicans’ opposition to common sense gun safety laws and support of extreme abortion bans.
“We know a majority of voters across the country support common sense gun safety laws, but in order to keep making progress in Washington we need to flip the House to a gun sense majority,” said John Feinblatt, president of Everytown for Gun Safety. “We’re proud to partner with House Majority PAC to ensure voters in key districts know which candidates will fight hard to keep schools, law enforcement, and our communities safe from gun violence — and which candidates are putting them at risk by standing in the way.”
“HMP is thrilled to partner with Everytown for Gun Safety Victory Fund in order to hold extremist House Republicans accountable for their continued efforts to push policies that endanger American families,” said House Majority PAC President Mike Smith. “If we want to pass common-sense gun safety solutions, we need a Democratic Majority – and Everytown for Gun Safety Victory Fund is playing a key role in ensuring we take back the House in November.”

Transcript:
Abortion banned without any exceptions.
Guns in the hands of violent criminals.
It could happen in New York if Brandon Williams is re-elected to Congress.
Because Williams is pushing an extreme agenda to let MAGA politicians ban abortion, even in cases of rape or incest.
And he’d roll back gun safety laws like background checks, making it easier for violent criminals to get guns, no questions asked.
Brandon Williams: He’s dangerously wrong for New York.

When Roe v. Wade got overturned, Brandon Williams called it “a monumental victory” — because Williams spent years trying to rip away abortion rights:
Voting to restrict abortion medication,
punish doctors and nurses,
and ban private health insurance plans from covering abortion.
And in Congress, Williams could help MAGA Republicans pass a national abortion ban, even in cases of rape.
Even in New York State.
Brandon Williams: He’s dangerously wrong on abortion.
In July, Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund and Victory Fund announced a $45 million electoral program and the launch of a new grassroots voter contact program to help elect gun sense candidates and defeat gun extremists up and down the ballot in key swing districts and states. Everytown’s efforts will focus on young voters on college campuses, voters of color, and suburban women in Arizona, California, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Last month, Everytown for Gun Safety Victory Fund and Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund announced a record $7.5 million to train and elect Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action volunteers, including many candidates running in key races across the country, 46% of whom are running for their state legislature.
